Athanasios Gavriilidis was another mechanic engineer, like many in Greece. That was until 1980, when he decided to get in the business of small electrical professional appliances by producing his first drink mixer.

In 1985 he introduced in the Greek market the company’s first citrus-squeezer. From this day onwards he started his hard way to the top of the Greek market in the field of small electrical professional appliances. Pioneer-entrepreneur, as he was, and with the concept of product and service quality improvement, Athanasios Gavriilidis acquired the European Certificate (CE) for all of his products. This was the best proof of the high quality of the company.

Subsequent to the products’ establishment in the Greek market the company started its exports to Cyprus and South Africa.

 After 1996, and due to the fact that the company acquired valuable experience from its association with abroad, continued its exports to other countries as Great Britain, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Chech Republic, Slovenia and Yugoslavia.

In 1997 Athanasios Gavriilidis, decided to name the company after his daughter “ARTEMIS”. In 2000, “ARTEMIS” celebrated 20 years of quality, reliability and dependability. 20 years of everyday communication with the customer and improvement of the products.
